Connect2Hampshire's 2024 Review: Celebrating our Achievements

As 2024 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on another outstanding year at Connect2Hampshire. This year, we’ve continued to work tirelessly to make a difference within our community, creating opportunities, transforming spaces, and celebrating successes together. From personal development to community engagement, our achievements reflect the incredible efforts of our team and our commitment to Hampshire. 

Awards and Recognition 

We were thrilled to see our hard work recognised throughout 2024 at our wider businesses internal awards: 

• Team of the Year – Our C2H Bank Team was honoured for their exceptional dedication and teamwork. 

• Business of the Year – Winning this prestigious title affirmed our commitment to delivering the best recruitment solutions for Hampshire County Council and beyond. 

Recognised at the British Recruitment Awards 

This year, Commercial Services Group Recruitment Division (formed of a number of brands including Connect2Hampshire), were honoured to be named finalists in the prestigious British Recruitment Awards for: 

• Public/Third Sector Recruitment Agency of the Year 

• Recruitment Campaign of the Year (for our impactful Save for Summer campaign). 

These nominations underscore our commitment to providing innovative recruitment solutions and delivering meaningful results for the communities we serve. 

Celebrating a Rising Star 

We are especially thrilled to announce that Carren Flanagan, our talented Recruitment Trainer, won the Rising Star Award at the British Recruitment Awards. This accolade highlights Carren’s dedication, expertise, and the difference she has made in empowering individuals and strengthening our team. 

Transforming Lives and Spaces 

This year, we didn’t just focus on work; we also made time to give back to the community: 

• In July, we rolled up our sleeves at the Audley Day Unit, transforming their garden into a space for peace and healing. 

• In June, we brought new life to the courtyard at Marlfield Care Home, ensuring residents could enjoy a welcoming and vibrant outdoor space. 

• Our Crisis Bake Sale raised £113 to support those in need. 

Let the Numbers Tell the Story 

Our successes this year go far beyond awards, with the numbers showcasing the tangible difference we’ve made: 

• Over 25 Job Centre events attended, leading to more than 40 successful placements – a testament to our dedication to matching talent with opportunity. 

• 3 team members began apprenticeship programmes to further their skills, demonstrating our belief in continuous growth and development.

As we wrap up this incredible year, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our team, clients, and community for their unwavering support. Connect2Hampshire wouldn’t be what it is without you.
